Camping:
Bass
Lake has seven camp site locations on or near the lake. If you are looking
to camp at a more secluded location, our area has many more rural camp
sites to choose from.
Climbing: Yosemite
is world renowned for its spectacular climbing areas, but you don't have
to drive all the way into the park to find a good place to climb. The mountain
ranges around Oakhurst and Bass Lake have great rocks for climbing.
Fishing:
There
are many streams, rivers, ponds and lakes in our area, where you can enjoy
fishing. The most popular... Bass Lake, California is stocked with trout,
bass, salmon, catfish, crappie and bluegill. Every May, Bass Lake hosts
a fishing derby where hundreds of fisherman compete for cash prizes.
Golfing:
Oakhurst has a golf course only five miles from town.
Hiking: A short drive
up Sierra Sky Ranch Road or Beasore Road will lead you to many options
for day hikes. Fresno Dome is a popular place to see a sunset. The view
is unbelievable! It is a popular local rock climbing area, and there are
many routes which run up the east face. There is also an easy trail
that climbs up the north side of the peak.

splits... keep to the right. You will pass a series of campgrounds, park
in the Forks campground. The trailhead is clearly marked at the parking
lot.
Off Roading: Our area
has a lot to offer for the off roading enthusiast. Just take a ride up
Sierra Sky Ranch Road or Beasore Road and you will have many options to
